Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE, CCNA Security, CySA+, etc.).
• 3+ years of cybersecurity, systems administration, or network security support.
• Experience with DoD STIGs, RMF artifacts, AESMP/ITSM ticketing.
• Knowledge of NIPR/SIPR, remote support tools, and endpoint protection.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to AESMP/ITSM trouble tickets and service requests.
• Perform system updates, STIG compliance, and patching on Windows.
• Provide touch labor and remote support for end-user devices across NIPR/SIPR networks.
• Track, assign, and resolve ITSM work orders; document changes.
• Assist in diagnosing cyber incidents and coordinate with network and application teams.
• Review, draft, and update SOPs, TTPs, RMF artifacts for government submission.
• Establish repeatable procedures to improve security posture.
• Provide guidance on cybersecurity policies to NEC staff and end-users.
• Support system design, planning, and installation with proper docs.
• Recommend system modifications to reduce user problems.
• Prepare daily or weekly progress reports and update ITSM records.
