Job Overview

This role involves providing embedded System Security Engineering design and implementation for DoD Weapon Systems, overseeing all aspects of Anti-Tamper and embedded Cybersecurity across Missiles and Fire Control.

Basic Qualifications

• Ability to obtain an Interim DoD Secret Security Clearance before starting, and maintain it during employment
• Experience with DoD systems development life-cycle (SDLC)
• Implementing System Security requirements on DoD systems to meet U.S. government compliance
• Supporting validation and verification of security requirements on DoD systems
• Possession of or ability to obtain a DoD 8570 baseline certification for IAT/IAM Level II (e.g., CISSP, CAP) within 6 months

Responsibilities

• Assessing and mitigating security threats/risks throughout development
• Decomposing, allocating, and analyzing security requirements for embedded systems
• Implementing security solutions in hardware and software
• Verifying security requirement implementation
• Designing and maintaining security architectures and countermeasures
• Analyzing vulnerabilities and threats
• Prototyping and testing security countermeasures

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with embedded DoD National Security Systems
• Design experience through SDLC for embedded security solutions
• Knowledge of System Security Engineering principles (NIST SP 800-161)
• Experience with security controls (NIST SP 800-53)
• Supporting security verification testing on DoD systems
