Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Staff Cyber Systems Engineer in Melbourne, FL to drive System Security Engineering across the lifecycle. You will apply DoD/NIST/CNSSI/RMF guidelines in an Agile environment and mentor junior engineers while coordinating with IPTs and suppliers.

The role requires a DoD Secret clearance, strong SSE background, and familiarity with security architecture and risk management. On-site work in Melbourne is expected.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have DoD SSE experience including security requirements engineering and risk management.
• Experience with RMF, System Security Plans, assessment reports and attack-path modeling.
• Active DoD Secret clearance is required (or equivalent).
• Experience guiding multiple IPTs and suppliers in design, implementation and test.
• Familiarity with agile development processes and cybersecurity architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead SSE activities across the system lifecycle and develop security architecture designs.
• Develop and analyze security requirements and perform risk analysis.
• Model system architecture and prepare technical documentation and briefings.
• Coordinate with cyber functional areas and management for program execution.
