Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager in Cyber Strategy to lead and shape client cybersecurity programs and governance. You will guide strategy, risk, and operating model transformations, aligning security investments with business goals across industries.

Engage with client leadership, facilitate workshops, and deliver executive-level recommendations. You will manage engagement workstreams, mentor teams, monitor threats and regulatory developments, and contribute to business development while delivering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Risk Management, or related field plus ~5+ years of experience; or graduate degree with ~4+ years.
• Experience in cybersecurity assessments, governance and risk management, strategy and roadmap development, operating model design, and controls.
• Familiarity with NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001/27002, CIS Controls, PCI DSS; HIPAA, FISMA, GLBA awareness.
• Experience leading client-facing engagements; strong written, verbal, and presentation skills; travel 25–50%.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support cybersecurity strategy, governance, and transformation engagements across industries.
• Assess programs, operating models, governance structures, policies, standards, and controls to identify risks and gaps.
• Develop cybersecurity strategies, target operating models, governance frameworks, and transformation roadmaps.
• Manage engagement workstreams, lead teams, monitor trends, and support business development and proposals.
