Job summary

EY seeks a Manager in Cyber Strategy to help clients strengthen cybersecurity programs and align security investments with business goals. You will lead engagements across governance, risk, and operating model transformation, delivering executive-level recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Risk Management, or a related field.
• Approximately 5+ years of relevant experience; or a graduate degree and ~4+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in cybersecurity assessments and maturity evaluations.
• Experience in cybersecurity governance and risk management.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards (NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001/27002, CIS Controls, and PCI DSS).
• Willingness to travel based on client and business needs (25–50%).

Responsibilities

• Lead and support cybersecurity strategy, governance, and transformation engagements across industries.
• Assess cybersecurity programs, operating models, governance structures, policies, standards, and control environments.
• Develop cybersecurity strategies, target operating models, governance frameworks, roadmaps, and executive recommendations.
• Manage engagement workstreams, mentor teams, and deliver high-quality client service within timelines and budgets.
• Monitor emerging threats and regulatory developments; translate insights into actionable client recommendations.
• Contribute to business development, proposals, and account growth initiatives.
