Stefanini EMEA is looking for a Cyber Security Monitoring Analyst, to complement the technical capabilities of our Security Operations Center (SOC).
As a Cyber Security Monitoring Analyst, you will play a vital role in our cybersecurity operations, focusing on real-time monitoring and initial response to security threats. Utilizing advanced Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools, you will safeguard our clients' digital assets. Your responsibilities will also include managing authentication and authorization processes, overseeing identity governance, and privileged access management (PAM) solutions to ensure secure access to sensitive information.
This role operates under 24x7 rotating shifts schedule with 8.5 hours shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Interact with customers to analyze issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement effective resolution solutions;
- Diagnose and resolve proxy server issues including connectivity failures, performance degradation, and security events while providing technical support to users experiencing service access problems;
- Support the creation of documentation and assist in maintaining it. The documentation will cover proxy system configurations, operational processes, and troubleshooting procedures;
- Address technical support topics for security services through various electronic communication channels;
- Perform incident response activities in accordance with predefined procedures and escalate based on specific Project/Customer requirements;
- Handling of Incidents & Requests through ticketing systems and follow through completion and/or escalation in accordance with established procedures;
- Follow the SLAs (Service Level Agreements) as needed for the daily operations;
- Work collaboratively with security team members and other teams, providing support to colleagues as needed;
- Help facilitate the integration of identity solutions across both cloud and on-premises environments;
- Aid in the strengthening of user access controls to minimize security risks;
- Assist in maintaining adherence to industry regulations and security best practices.
Job Requirements:Mandatory requirements:
- Availability for 24/7 shift rotation schedule (8 hours shift);
- English proficiency is a must;
- A sound knowledge of IT security best practices, common attack types, and detection/prevention methods, including malware, emerging threats, attacks, and vulnerability management;
- Basic understanding of Cybersecurity Frameworks;
- Strong deductive reasoning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills;
- Understanding of authentication, authorization, identity governance, and privileged access management (PAM);
- Knowledge of IAM protocols, including SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, LDAP, and SCIM for secure access management;
- Ability to contribute to the development and enforcement of IAM security policies and access controls;
- Basic skills in IAM-related security incident response;
- Relevant certifications in cybersecurity, such as CC, SSCP, Microsoft (SC300, SC200, AZ500), are preferred but not required.
