Innova Solutions is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst in Pottstown, PA. You'll guide cybersecurity and network infrastructure programs from concept to execution, leading major technology transformations and driving regulatory readiness and incident response capabilities.

The role entails leading complex projects, advocating secure-by-design practices, and mentoring teams to elevate security capabilities across the organization. On-site work is required in a nuclear utility environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in cyber security, information technology, computer science or related discipline; 5–8 years of cybersecurity/networking experience or 9–12 years of equivalent education and experience.
• Experience supporting cybersecurity and network infrastructure within a nuclear utility environment.
• Must reside within one hour of Pottstown or Delta, Pennsylvania and be able to work onsite as required.

Cyber Security Analyst

Position type: Full-time, Contract
Duration: 12 months
Location: Pottstown Pennsylvania

As a Cyber Security Analyst, you will: You'll serve as a trusted technical leader, guiding cybersecurity and network infrastructure programs from concept to execution. From architecting secure solutions and leading major technology transformations to strengthening regulatory readiness and incident response capabilities, you'll be at the forefront of safeguarding essential operations.

Drive Mission-Critical Security Initiatives

• Lead complex cybersecurity and network infrastructure projects, including deployments, upgrades, migrations, and enterprise-wide implementations.
• Champion secure-by-design principles while ensuring business objectives and operational requirements remain aligned.

Architect and Strengthen Cyber Defenses

• Design, integrate, optimize, and support robust cybersecurity and networking solutions.
• Leverage expertise in firewalls, intrusion detection systems, SIEM platforms, and enterprise network security to protect critical assets.

Ensure Compliance & Operational Excellence

• Provide technical leadership during audits, regulatory assessments, cybersecurity reviews, and compliance activities.
• Develop and maintain technical standards, operational procedures, support documentation, and best practices.

Lead Incident Response & Resiliency Efforts

• Support cybersecurity operations, incident response investigations, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance organizational security posture and operational readiness.

Collaborate, Influence & Mentor

• Partner with business leaders, project teams, and IT stakeholders to deliver strategic technology solutions.
• Simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences and mentor team members to elevate technical capabilities across the organization.

What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications

• Experience supporting cybersecurity and network infrastructure within a nuclear utility environment
• Must reside within one hour of Pottstown or Delta, Pennsylvania, with the ability to work onsite as required
• Bachelor’s degree in cyber security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline with: 5-8 years of relevant cybersecurity and networking experience, OR 9-12 years of equivalent education and professional experience

Advanced expertise in:

• Windows and Linux operating systems
• Command-line administration and troubleshooting
• Enterprise networking, IP routing and switching
• Network architecture and security technologies

Hands-on experience with:

• SIEM platforms such as Splunk, Nitro, or Industrial Defender
• Enterprise firewalls including Cisco and Check Point

Deep understanding of:

• Network security
• Information and application security
• Security policy development
• Operational security
• Incident response
• Disaster recovery
• Security awareness and end-user education

Proven ability to:

• Lead projects and technical initiatives
• Manage change effectively
• Work independently in fast-paced environments
• Adapt to evolving priorities and travel as business needs require

Preferred Certifications

• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Pay Range and Benefits

Pay Range*: $45.00 - $51.72 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
