Job summary

Ampcus, Inc. is seeking a System Administrator for an on-site role in Arlington, VA. The candidate will support a U.S. Government client with incident response, lab operations, and escalation of security issues. A Secret clearance is required, with TS/SCI preferred.

Responsibilities include configuring networks, VPN/VDI, and MacOS/iOS support, plus developing SOPs and providing day-to-day helpdesk assistance. 5+ years of relevant experience and cross-location collaboration are expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site system administration and incident response support.
• Support lab technologies and new equipment in the lab environment.
• Assess network topology and configurations for security vulnerabilities.
• Develop and follow SOPs and security policies.
• Provide VPN/VDI (Citrix) and MacOS/iOS user support.
• Troubleshoot storage, access control, backups, and performance issues.
• Monitor helpdesk channels and manage user accounts and credentials.
