Job summary

Node.Digital is seeking a Systems Engineer / Cyber Technology Researcher to support a U.S. Government customer, performing on-site incident response and cyber operations in Arlington, VA.

The role requires a Secret security clearance, with TS/SCI preferred, and 5+ years of direct IT cyber operations experience. Responsibilities include researching technology solutions, evaluating deployments, and coordinating with stakeholders to meet mission needs.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Active Secret clearance; TS/SCI preferred.
• Ability to obtain DHS EOD suitability.
• 5+ years in IT cyber operations or related fields.
• Strong understanding of federal cybersecurity operations.
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and integration automation.
• Strong project coordination and stakeholder management.
• Experience with incident response.

Responsibilities

• Conduct capability-based research into tech solutions addressing customer needs.
• Evaluate technology solutions against identified requirements.
• Stay up-to-date on emerging market technologies and products.
• Collaborate to maintain an inventory of customer-procured technologies.
• Engage with customer request submitters to clarify requirements and ensure alignment.
