Job summary

L3Harris Greenville, TX is seeking an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to support AFIC programs. Responsibilities include auditing, documenting and accrediting boundaries and networks under the ISSM, updating documentation for systems using XACTA, and applying RMF/NIST guidance.

The role requires strong knowledge of security tools (Nessus, ClamAV, Trellix, ELK) and a solid understanding of Windows and Linux, with ability to obtain additional clearances if needed.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret security clearance required.
• Bachelor’s Degree or Graduate Degree with cyber experience.
• Experience with accreditation systems (XACTA, EMASS, SNOW) and security tools.

Responsibilities

• Intensify vulnerability scans, interpret results and propose remediation plans.
• Prepare, review, and maintain authorization docs (SSPs, SARs, POA&Ms, risk assessments).
• Interpret and implement RMF, NIST, CNSSI, JSIG, DoD requirements.
• Execute Continuous Monitoring Plans and ST&E support.
• Interface with IT and system managers to resolve vulnerabilities.
• Create and update technical documentation.
• Develop new standards for improved processes, systems, and products.
• Communicate cybersecurity risks and compliance status to stakeholders.
