Job summary

This role mentors junior ISSOs, leads incident response, and collaborates with IT and security teams to maintain a strong security posture. A TS/SCI with Polygraph and DoD 8140.03 certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Maintain A&A documentation for assigned systems.
• Perform security control assessments and continuous monitoring.
• Develop device/system hardening guides following DISA/NIST guidelines.
• Track and resolve POA&M items and manage incident response.
• Mentor junior ISSOs in execution of tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain A&A documentation of assigned systems.
• Perform security control assessments and execute Continuous Monitoring Plans.
• Work with IT and system administration to develop device and system hardening guides following DISA and NIST guidelines.
• Responsible for the tracking and resolution of POA&Ms.
• Manage the incident response process for areas of responsibility.
• Develop new concepts, standards, and training material to improve processes and systems.
