Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) for our Waco, TX facility. This role focuses on developing, deploying, and enforcing security controls to protect information systems and deliverables in coordination with government customers.

You will help ensure secure operations and risk mitigation across the program lifecycle. The ISSO will support RMF documentation (SSP, SAR, RAR, SAP, SCTM, POA&M) and coordinate changes with the ISSM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required; 6+ years of security experience if no degree.
• Graduate degree with 4+ years of security experience.
• In lieu of a degree, 10 years of related systems security experience.
• Minimum Security+ certification required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and execute security controls for information systems.
• Support RMF documentation (SSP, SAR, RAR, SAP, POA&M).
• Coordinate with ISSM on A&A activities and changes to the system.
• Perform incident response and analyze security events and anomalies.
