Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to support the cybersecurity posture of assigned information systems in Greenville, TX. The role ensures compliance with RMF, NIST standards, and security policies while assisting with risk assessment and incident response.

Qualifications

• Active US Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience.
• Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
• Demonstrated experience with RMF/Assessment and Authorization (A&A).
• Current DoD IAM Level I/IAT Level 2 Certification (e.g., Security+).

Responsibilities

• Support RMF/A&A verification procedures to meet RMF/NIST guidelines.
• Author and provide input for artifacts supporting RMF packages (SSP, SCTM, POA&M).
• Analyze and/or administer security controls for information systems.
• Participate in security reviews to develop secure system solutions.
• Support IA program compliance with periodic self-inspections and tests.
• Ensure change management processes and related documentation.
• Review audit data for anomalous or unauthorized activities.
• Document and review security workflows to mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Conduct cybersecurity training and briefings for multiple levels.
