In this role, you will be the main claims liaison between multiple insurers and the Claims Manager for assigned personal lines claims. This role will also be responsible for all administrative duties with a newly established Captive Insurance Program, such as running required bordereau reports, establishing workflow compliance, issuing payments, maintaining enrollment records, and all other associated tasks.

What You'll Bring:
  • 3-5 years of Insurance Claims experience in property/casualty
  • Bachelor's Degree or Claims Designation
  • Excellent writing and communication skills are required, with the ability to review policies and draft detailed Reservations of Rights and Denials.
  • Must be able to obtain continuing education credits.
  • You must have at least one insurance adjuster's license in your domiciled State and the ability to obtain further licenses as required.
Preferred Skills:

Whether you are proficient or could use some brushing up, we're happy to support your development in:

  • A background in Captive Insurance programs is a plus.
  • Ability to grow into a role that will be a key contributor in a new Captive Cyber Insurance initiative.
  • Able to learn and grasp insurance concepts as well as cyber-related claim scenarios.
Impact You'll Make:
  • Collaborate with claims manager and internal Resolutions/Fraud Team to identify and document handling strategies within the scope of personal cyber coverages.
  • Work with claims software systems to track claims diary, assignments, notes, and create loss/bordereau reports.
  • Create and run required reports for the Captive Insurance Program.
  • Take ownership of the Captive Insurance program to ensure highly functioning operations.
  • Identify coverage issues and draft appropriate letters to policyholders.
  • Process claims in accordance with Best Practices Claims Guidelines under guidance from the claims manager.
  • Serve as a point of contact for reinsurance partners in the Captive Insurance Program.
  • Complete training in cyber claims and stay updated on trends and best practices. Maintain necessary licenses and continuing education.
  • Act as a liaison between the cyber claims team and stakeholders in establishing a Captive Cyber Insurance program, documenting and following workflows.

This is a remote position, which may require occasional in-person attendance at work-related events at management's discretion.

Pay Scale:

The U.S. base salary range for this position is $51,700 - $75,000 annually. Actual compensation depends on various factors including education, experience, skills, location, and market considerations. Some positions may be eligible for bonuses, incentives, and other payments.
