Job summary

ZS is seeking a data-driven Technology Solutions Consultant in Chicago to design, implement, and optimize customer data and engagement initiatives. You will collaborate across client teams to translate business challenges into scalable technology and process solutions, ensuring successful activation and measurable impact.

With 3+ years of relevant experience, you will lead project workstreams, mentor teammates, and contribute to end-to-end delivery while traveling as needed to client sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, MIS or related field.
• 3-5+ years delivering small/medium-scale technology solutions.
• Experience with MarTech, CDPs, and Marketing Automation.
• Experience with CX Activation, Customer Engagement, and Omnichannel Strategy; Data, Analytics, SQL, ETL.
• Experience with Technology Consulting, Solution Design, and Client-Facing Delivery.
• Proven ability to lead project teams, manage end-to-end delivery, drive milestones.
• Strong data management, integration, analytics, and activation concepts.
• Fluency in English; client-first mentality; willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with ZS and client teams to design, implement, and optimize customer data, marketing technology, and customer engagement solutions.
• Develop a deep understanding of client business challenges related to customer engagement, marketing, and data, and translate them into scalable technology and process solutions.
• Support the delivery of customer data and activation initiatives, ensuring seamless integration, operational excellence, and successful business outcomes.
• Contribute across the solution lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design through implementation, activation, and measurement of business impact.
• Leverage SQL/ETL knowledge and media/marketing data expertise to design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions
• Work closely with technical architects to validate technical designs and ensure alignment with the overall implementation strategy.
• Lead modules and project workstreams, actively participating in hands-on implementation tasks and troubleshooting.
• Apply best practices and development methodologies to deliver high-quality solutions and exceptional client experiences.
• Support project leads in delivery activities, including planning, team management, staffing, and risk mitigation.
• Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
• Contribute to project deliverables such as business case development, technical architecture, solution vision and design, user requirements, prototypes, test cases, and deployment plans.
