Gusto is hiring a Business Intelligence Analyst to own the CX data layer, build pipelines and dashboards, and enable self-serve insights. You will answer causal questions about customer outcomes and drive data-driven decisions across CX initiatives.

The role requires strong coding and statistics depth, experience with Snowflake/DBT, and the judgment to prioritize impactful questions. Hybrid work with multiple office locations is common.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Data Engineering, or Data Governance.
• Strong SQL and Python proficiency.
• Experience with cloud platforms like Snowflake.
• Proven experience building and maintaining robust data reporting pipelines and ETL workflows.
• Experience designing or operating governance for AI-assisted analytics outputs with validation standards and audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead ambiguous problems, design analysis and measurement frameworks, and ensure data integrity within your domain.
• Deliver high-impact data projects with clear timelines and deliverables.
• Partner with CX leaders, data-science teams, and data engineering to align on strategy.
• Apply advanced statistics and AI-driven anomaly detection to improve CX outcomes and build reliable sources of truth.
• Develop and scale reporting pipelines (DBT/Snowflake) and dashboards for self-serve insights.
• Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
