Job summary

Gusto is hiring a Business Intelligence Analyst to own the data layer for CX analytics, building pipelines, models, and dashboards to make data trustworthy and self-serve. You will work with CX leaders and data teams to answer causal questions about customer outcomes.

The role requires strong coding, statistical depth, and the judgment to prioritize questions that move business metrics. Hybrid work with major offices in Denver, SF, and NYC.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Data Engineering, or Data Governance.
• Strong SQL and Python proficiency, capable of querying and analyzing large datasets with ease.
• Strong foundation in data modeling, schema design, and data quality best practices, with cloud experience on Snowflake.
• Proven experience building and maintaining robust data reporting pipelines and ETL workflows.
• Experience designing or operating governance for AI-assisted analytics outputs and validating AI-generated code.

Responsibilities

• Lead ambiguous problems, design analysis and measurement frameworks, and enforce data integrity within your domain.
• Deliver multiple high-impact projects with clear deliverables and timelines.
• Partner with CX leaders, data-science teams, and engineers to align on strategy.
• Apply advanced statistics and AI-driven anomaly detection to uncover opportunities and diagnose issues.
• Define DBT and Snowflake data pipeline requirements and build monitoring systems and dashboards.
