Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a CVOR Surgical Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment. Requires at least 1 year of CVOR experience and NBSTSA or NCCT certification. BLS certification and applicable license are also required.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year CVOR experience required.
BLS certification required.
NBSTSA or NCCT certification required.
License required if applicable.
Experience with vascular, cardiovascular and trauma cases preferred.
Proficiency in aseptic technique and instrument handling.

Responsibilities

Support CVOR unit across a 6-OR suite (4 standard ORs, 1 hybrid OR, 1 PV room).
Work day shifts on a 3x12-hour schedule (6:45a-6:45p or 10:45a-10:45p).
Assist with cardiac surgery cases including CABG, valve procedures, TAVR and LVAD support.
Handle vascular procedures including endarterectomy and AAA repair.
Chart patient data in Epic/Excellian and participate in on-call rotations.
Travelers must comply with pre-start modules and provide required documentation.
