American Traveler seeks a CVOR Surgical Technologist for a 13-week hospital assignment requiring NBSTSA certification and prior travel experience.

The role requires NBSTSA and BLS certifications, a valid license if applicable, and a minimum of 1.5 years of CVOR experience with EMR proficiency in EPIC/Cerner. Returning travelers may be considered after a 1-year gap. Local San Diego candidates are ineligible.

Qualifications

• NBSTSA and BLS certifications required.
• Minimum 1 year of total travel experience required.
• Minimum 6 months of continuous travel experience immediately preceding consideration, with no significant gaps.
• Minimum 1.5 years of continuous CVOR experience without breaks in unit type.
• EPIC or combined EPIC/Cerner EMR experience within the last 6 months.

Responsibilities

• CVOR hospital unit assignment.
• Day shift: 5x8 hours, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
• Work week runs Sunday through Saturday.
• On-call: 2 shifts per week, evenings and weekends.
• First-time travelers will not be considered; returning travelers may be considered after 1-year break.
• Maximum of 7 days RTO, no extra requests after consideration.
• Candidates must not reside within 100 miles of the facility (LVNs/LPNs exempt).
• San Diego assignment for 9+ months is considered local and ineligible.
