Job summary

Banner University Medical Center Phoenix is seeking a CVOR Surgical Technologist to assist in the Cardiovascular Operating Room. You will scrub, hand instruments, and support surgeons during complex cardiovascular procedures.

The role requires scrubbing in at least two surgical specialties, strong manual dexterity, and adherence to safety and aseptic practices. A 3-12s shift, with 36 hours per week, is offered with on-call rotations and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED and current basic life support certification.
• Certification as a surgical technologist with 1–2 years in role OR 3–4 years in role; may require state registration.
• Must scrub proficiently on a minimum of two surgical specialties.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for procedures by pulling instruments and supplies and ensure instrument function.
• Anticipate surgeon needs and pass instruments; scrub in two specialties.
• Maintain aseptic technique and universal precautions throughout procedures.
