Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Georgia is seeking a dedicated RN First Assistant to deliver safe, effective perioperative care for diverse patient populations. You will function as an RN First Assistant during operative and invasive procedures and, when needed, as an RN circulator in the OR and perioperative suite.

Qualifications include graduation from a nursing program, completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant program, and active GA licensure with CNOR/CRNFA certification and Life Support

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program required.
• Completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant program (didactic and clinical) required.
• RN licensure in Georgia (NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure) required.
• CNOR certification required if applicable.
• CRNFA certification required.
• BCLS, ACLS, and PALS required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective, and patient-family centered care in the OR and perioperative settings.
• Act as RN first assistant during operative and invasive procedures and throughout perioperative continuum.
• Serve as RN circulator when needed in the OR.
