Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant program with didactic and clinical components.
• Current Georgia RN licensure or multi-state licensure.
• CNOR/CRNFA certification or eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective, quality perioperative care as a first assistant in the OR and perioperative continuum.
• Serve as RN circulator when applicable and collaborate with surgical teams.
• Operate within scope of practice, credentials, privileges, and competency verification.
