Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Georgia is seeking an experienced RN First Assistant to support the perioperative team across all patient populations. You will function as the RNFA during operative and invasive procedures and may serve as an RN circulator when needed.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years perioperative RN/RNFA experience, CVOR exposure, and active Georgia RN licensure with CNOR/CRNFA and BCLS/ACLS/PALS credentials; strong teamwork and patient-family centered care are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate from nursing program.
• Completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant program.
• 2 years perioperative RN or RNFA experience.
• 3 years minimum experience as RN or Surgical Tech in the CVOR.
• Current Georgia RN license.
• CNOR, CRNFA, BCLS, ACLS, PALS credentials.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the delivery of safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the OR and other areas of perioperative services.
• Functions as an RN first assistant during operative and other invasive procedures and throughout the perioperative continuum.
• May serve as an RN circulator when required.
