Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an experienced RN First Assistant to provide safe and high-quality perioperative care across all patient populations. In this role, you will function as the RN first assistant during operative and invasive procedures and support the perioperative continuum in alignment with credentials, privileges, and competency.

At times you may act as an RN circulator in the OR. The position requires CNOR, CRNFA, BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, Georgia RN licensure,

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program.
• Completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant program, which includes didactic and clinical components.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the OR and perioperative services for all patient populations.
• Act as an RN first assistant during operative and other invasive procedures and throughout the perioperative continuum.
• Deliver safe, effective care as an RN circulator when applicable in the OR.
