Job summary

Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK is seeking a day shift, full-time Cardiothoracic and Vascular Operating Room Registered Nurse (CVOR RN) to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document perioperative care for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures.

As the circulating nurse, you will coordinate the intraoperative environment, maintain sterile technique, support the interdisciplinary team, and advocate for the patient throughout the surgical experience.

Qualifications

• ADN or BSN required.
• Current RN license required.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.
• Oklahoma or multi-state RN license on hire.
• ACLS within 30 days.
• PALS within 30 days.
• BLS must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document perioperative nursing care for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures.
• As circulating nurse, coordinate intraoperative environment to ensure sterile technique and safe patient care.
• Promote effective communication among the interdisciplinary team and advocate for the patient throughout the surgical experience.
