Job summary

Temecula Valley Hospital, part of Southwest Healthcare, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the CVOR. The role includes initial patient assessment, perioperative care, and assisting cardio-thoracic procedures. Requires CA RN license, BLS/ACLS; PALS preferred. CNOR preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience circulating for cardio-thoracic CABG surgeries.
• Graduate of an accredited RN program; California RN license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS preferred.
• CNOR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial assessment and care planning based on patient needs and care setting.
• Assist physicians with operating room procedures, including cardio-thoracic surgery.
• Set up for cases and maintain sterility in the operating room per AORN guidelines.
