Job summary

Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Cardiothoracic and Vascular Operating Room Registered Nurse (CVOR RN) to manage perioperative nursing care for cardiac procedures. The circulating nurse coordinates the intraoperative environment, maintains sterile technique, and ensures patient safety throughout the surgical experience.

The role requires RN licensure in Oklahoma (or multi-state), ACLS and PALS within the stated timeframes, and BLS prior to direct patient care.

Qualifications

• ADN or BSN required.
• Registered Nurse license required.
• 1 year nursing experience preferred.
• Oklahoma or multi-state RN license required at hire.
• ACLS within 30 days of hire.
• PALS within 30 days of hire.
• BLS must be obtained within 14 days of hire or prior to direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document perioperative nursing care for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures.
• Coordinate intraoperative environment as circulating nurse to ensure sterile field, efficient resources, and clear communication.
