Hillcrest Healthcare System in Tulsa, OK seeks a Day shift, full-time CVOR Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join the Operating Room team. You will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and support sterile technique, patient safety, and the surgical plan.

Qualifications include NBSTSA certification and BLS within 14 days of hire. This role requires a calm, team-oriented professional with surgical tech experience in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High School or GED.
• Graduate from an accredited Surgical Technologist program.
• Current NBSTSA surgical technologist certification.
• One year of experience as a Surgical Tech.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire or transfer.

Responsabilités

• Providing nursing care activities in the Operating Rooms under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Demonstrate knowledge to provide age-appropriate care on the assigned unit.
• Assist the surgical team in accomplishing the plan of surgical care.
• Maintain sterile technique, sterilization procedures, and instrument care.
• Adhere to HMC policies, procedures and JCAHO regulations during procedures.
• Assist the RN Coordinator in service-specific processes.
• Abide by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act regulations.

High School or GED

Graduate from an accredited Surgical Technologist program

NBSTSA certification

BLS certification within 14 days of hire
