Qualifications

• Education: Graduation from a school of nursing (ADN, Diploma, or BSN)
• Licensure: Current RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure
• Experience: Six months OR experience with Level I proficiency
• Certifications: BLS or course completion within 30 days; various certifications may be required depending on unit

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care following Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process.
• Coordinate patient care with the surgical team and other departments; ensure patient rights and confidentiality.
