Job summary

Mercy Nursing is seeking an experienced RN to provide direct patient care in our surgical settings. You will apply the nursing process, coordinate with the surgical team, and protect patient rights and confidentiality in a mission-driven environment.

Minimum requirements include RN licensure in Missouri or compact, a minimum of six months OR experience, and BLS or equivalent certification within 30 days of hire. Mercy offers comprehensive benefits and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Licensure: current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Experience: Six months OR experience in OR.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support certification or completion within 30 days of hire.
• One or more certifications may be required based on unit: ACLS/ALS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, BLS, PALS, PEARS, STABLE, C-EFM, or other.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process to provide patient care.
• Coordinates patient care with the surgical team in collaboration with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Performs duties consistent with Mercy mission, values, and Service Standards.
