Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse for the growing Heart Hospital – CVOR. The role utilizes the nursing process to deliver patient care with accountability for outcomes and confidentiality. You will coordinate patient care with multidisciplinary teams and ensure adherence to Mercy Service Standards.

Applicants should hold a nursing degree (ADN/ Diploma/ BSN) and an active RN license in the hiring state or a compact license. BLS and other unit-specific certifications may be required.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required in hiring state or compact licensure.
• Graduation from a school of nursing (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Certifications may be required based on unit: BLS and others listed.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for the care of assigned patients.
• Evaluates overall effectiveness of care provided by direct care givers.
