Job summary

Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, IL is seeking a Staff RN-Cardiovascular for day shifts in the OR. You will provide peri-operative patient care in both the Main OR and Cardiovascular OR and collaborate with surgeons and anesthesiologists.

Qualified candidates have perioperative and cardiovascular OR experience, an active RN license, and BLS/ACLS certification. On-call rotation is required, with part-time status and day shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one-year previous Perioperative experience or on the job training.
• One year previous Cardiovascular OR experience.
• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS (AHA) certification required.
• ACLS (AHA) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of direct and indirect patient care in the peri-operative setting in Main OR and Cardiovascular OR.
• Coordinate care with surgeon and anesthesiologist.
• Direct and guide OR staff while maintaining nursing standards.
• Participate in Performance Improvement activities and unit meetings.
• On-call rotation is required.
