Job summary

Resurrection Medical Center is seeking an RN for Cardiovascular OR perioperative care in Chicago, IL. The role involves delivering direct and indirect patient care across all age groups in the Main and Cardiovascular OR, coordinating with surgical and anesthesia teams.

You will participate in patient flow, adhere to standards, and support unit improvement initiatives. On-call rotation is required. Full-time, day shift with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one-year perioperative experience required.
• One year cardiovascular OR experience required.
• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS (AHA) certification required.
• ACLS (AHA) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Direct and indirect patient care in peri-operative setting for neonates to older adults.
• Coordinate care with surgeon and anesthesiologist; supervise OR staff.
• Guide OR Technician and other personnel; ensure standards and procedures are followed.
• Participate in Performance Improvement and unit meetings; on-call rotation required.
