Job summary

Resurrection Medical Center is recruiting a Staff RN-Cardiovascular to provide perioperative nursing care in both the Main OR and Cardiovascular OR. You will coordinate with the surgical team and anesthesiology while maintaining patient flow, safety, and quality standards.

On-call rotations are required, and a strong perioperative background is essential. The role requires an active RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, with a 6:30am–3:00pm schedule in Chicago, IL.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one-year perioperative experience or on-the-job training required.
• One year cardiovascular OR experience required.
• Current and valid state RN License required.
• BLS (AHA) certification required.
• ACLS (AHA) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care in the peri-operative setting in Main OR and Cardiovascular OR.
• Coordinate care with surgeon and anesthesiologist; guide OR staff.
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies and participate in PI activities; on-call rotation is required.
