Job summary

Resurrection Medical Center is seeking a Staff RN for the Cardiovascular Operating Room in Chicago. The role involves delivering direct and indirect patient care in the perioperative environment across Main and Cardiovascular ORs, coordinating with surgeons and anesthesia, and ensuring adherence to nursing standards.

The position is a temporary 12-week contract with daytime shifts (6:45am - 3:15pm) and on-call responsibilities, offering competitive compensation in a fast-paced acute care setting.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Illinois.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA) required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (AHA) required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care in the perioperative setting.
• Coordinate care with the surgeon and anesthesiologist.
• Direct and guide OR technicians and staff while maintaining nursing standards.
• Participate in performance improvement activities, unit meetings, and trainings.
• On-call rotation is required.
