AdventHealth in Daytona Beach, Florida is seeking a Surgical Technician to provide patient care during pre-operative phases. The role includes assisting with preparation, transport, positioning, and draping, while ensuring sterility and accurate instrument counts throughout procedures.

Candidates must have 2+ years of experience, a Technical/Vocational School credential in a related field, and CST or TS-C/NCCT certification, plus BLS and ACLS. PALS preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provides patients with supportive care during pre-operative phases.
• Collects and labels specimens obtained during surgical procedures.
• Conducts instrument counts prior to surgical procedures.
• Assists with preparing, transporting, positioning, and draping patients.
• Ensures the operating room is sterile and ready for procedures.
• Monitors instrument counts throughout procedures and maintains instrument organization.
• Supports the team with safe and efficient operating room turnover times.
• Other duties as assigned.
