AdventHealth in Daytona Beach is seeking qualified Surgical Technologists for flexible contract assignments across facilities. You will support pre-operative care, assist in the operating room, and help maintain sterile environments while coordinating with the surgical team for efficient turnover.
Requirements include an Associate or technical/vocational training, with 2+ years of related experience and BLS/CSA certifications.

Provides patients with supportive care during pre-operative phases. Collects and labels specimens obtained during surgical procedures. Conducts instrument counts prior to surgery. Assists with preparing, transporting, positioning, and draping patients. Conducts field preparation and maintenance. Ensures the operating room is sterile. Monitors and tracks instrument counts throughout procedures. Maintains surgical instruments in an organized manner. Assists the team with safe and efficient operating room turnover times. Other duties as assigned.
