Job summary

Serco is seeking a Project Manager to lead engineering services for U.S. Navy Aircraft Carriers, based in Bremerton, WA. The role requires maintaining an active DoD Secret clearance and overseeing HM&E and aviation systems upgrades for naval propulsion plants and related equipment.

The candidate will manage technical teams, coordinate inspections, and provide training and guidance to Ship's Force. Strong leadership, extensive naval engineering experience, and travel readiness are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires DoD Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with extensive engineering management experience
• Five years of supervisory experience in Navy carrier-related maintenance/design
• Two years in electrical, auxiliary, and damage control systems
• Up to 25% travel may be required

Responsibilities

• Lead teams providing technical guidance on HM&E, propulsion, and aviation systems
• Oversee inspections, analyses, and repairs for naval propulsion and related machinery
• Coordinate with ship's reactor department before inspections and production work
• Develop training packages and formal work packages (FWPs/CWPs) for maintenance
• Provide technical advice to Ship's Force for operation, overhaul, and repair
• Manage personnel to support short-term and long-term contract efforts
• Cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders
