Serco Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to oversee engineering services supporting U.S. Navy Aircraft Carriers. The role focuses on HM&E, propulsion, and aviation systems, with liaison to Ship's Force and reactor departments.

The candidate will manage inspections, repairs, and maintenance planning, while developing training packages and formal work packages. Travel up to 25% may be required, and DoD clearance is mandatory.

Formación

• Active DoD security clearance is required.
• Bachelor's degree with 7+ years in related engineering management field.
• Associates degree with 14+ years in related engineering management field.
• Five years supervisory experience in technical assistance, maintenance, or design for Navy carriers.
• Three years hands-on with propulsion/electrical/damage control in shipboard environments.
• Two years direct experience with naval propulsion plants and related systems.
• Up to 25% travel for CONUS/OCONUS may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Lead teams providing technical guidance to Ship's Force on HM&E and aviation systems.
• Oversee inspections, examinations, analyses, and repairs related to naval propulsion and auxiliary systems.
• Coordinate liaison with Ship's Reactor Department prior to inspections, testing, and production work.
• Guide fault identification and support Ship's Force with repairs of propulsion and damage control systems.
• Provide technical support and advice to Ship's Force on operation, overhaul, and repair of auxiliary machinery and hull systems.
• Develop training packages and onboard operator/maintenance training for Ship's Force.
• Create FWPs and CWPs per Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual.
• Manage personnel to support short- and long-term contract efforts.
• Cultivate positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
