Job summary

Serco Inc. seeks a seasoned Project Manager for the Naval Acquisition and Sustainment Operation to oversee engineering and technical services for overhaul and repair of HM&E and aviation systems on US Navy aircraft carriers. Location: Brementon, WA; active DoD Secret clearance required.

You will lead shipboard modernization teams, coordinate with ship's force and reactor department, develop work packages, and mentor staff while supporting maintenance planning and technical investigations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of seven years’ experience in related engineering management field.
Associates Degree with fourteen (14) years’ experience in related engineering management field.
Active DoD security clearance required.
Five years’ supervisory experience in maintenance or design related to Navy carriers.
Three years hands-on with aircraft carrier/surface ship propulsion, electrical and damage control systems.
Two years supervisory experience in naval engineering contexts.

Responsibilities

Lead teams providing technical guidance on HM&E and aviation equipment interfacing with combat systems.
Oversee inspections, analyses, and repairs for naval propulsion and auxiliary machinery.
Coordinate with ship’s reactor department prior to inspections and production work.
Develop FWPs/CWPs and manage short/long-term contract efforts.
Provide training to Ship’s Force and maintain stakeholder relationships.
