Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required; RN license in TN on hire.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire; BLS-CPR required on hire.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred; ongoing professional development encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostic and patient monitoring with detection of acute changes and escalation as needed.
• Administer and monitor therapies, IVs, medications per policy and patient rights.
• Manage rapidly changing situations, assess needs, and respond accordingly.
• Coordinate care, prioritize tasks, and meet multiple patient needs promptly.
• Contribute to a healing environment, support patient dignity, and advocate for patients.
• Explain patient conditions and educate readiness for learning.
