Job summary

CommonSpirit Memorial is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide individualized, high-quality care and to perform skilled assessments and procedures. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support optimal patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Demonstrated critical thinking, urgency, and dedication to patient recovery are essential, along with completing required certifications and maintaining patient advocacy throughout care delivery.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing required upon hire.
• RN licensure in TN required.
• CPR certification required upon hire.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostic and patient monitoring, recognizing acute changes and escalating concerns.
• Administer medications and therapies per patient rights; prevent falls and skin breakdown; follow safety policies.
• Manage rapidly changing situations by assessing and anticipating patient needs.
• Prioritize and coordinate care to meet multiple patient needs in a timely manner.
• Contribute to a healing environment and advocate for patient dignity and comfort.
• Educate patients and assess readiness to learn about conditions and treatment.
