Job summary

Sun Recruiting, Inc. partners with a premier Montana hospital to hire a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) in Great Falls. This full-time, on-site role offers a 3x12s daytime schedule with strong nurse-to-patient ratios and comprehensive benefits.

Qualified candidates will hold an ADN (BSN preferred), MT RN licensure, BLS/ACLS, PALS within 6 months, and ICU or CV surgical ICU experience. Sign-on and career growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN required; BSN preferred).
• Active Montana RN licensure (or immediate compact/endorsement eligibility).
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS within 6 months; EPNC/TNCC preferred.
• 1–2 years of Cardiac Surgical ICU experience preferred; ICU/CV surgical exposure.
• Strong clinical judgment and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical care to medical, surgical, and cardiovascular patients.
• Operate advanced cardiac and life-support equipment (ventilators, central/arterial lines, IV pumps, CRRT).
• Monitor patients with IABP and Impella devices; manage titrations and therapies.
• Serve as clinical floor leader and collaborate with staff and providers.
• Maintain accurate electronic documentation and discharge planning.
