Job summary

Ashton North LLC partners with a premier Montana hospital to recruit a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) in Great Falls. This full-time, on-site role features 3x12-hour day shifts, competitive nurse-to-patient ratios, and access to modern cardiovascular technology.

You will deliver high-level clinical care from admission to discharge, operate IABP/Impella and CRRT, supervise staff, and work with providers to ensure evidence-based care plans.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program (ADN required; BSN preferred).
• Active RN license in Montana or endorsement eligible.
• Core BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS to be obtained within 6 months of hire; ENPC and TNCC preferred.
• Recent Critical Care/ICU nursing experience with cardiovascular surgery patients.
• Hands-on familiarity with Impella pumps, cardiac balloon pumps, and CRRT equipment is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality direct clinical care to medical, surgical, and cardiovascular patients requiring advanced physiological monitoring from admission through discharge.
• Operate advanced cardiac and life-support equipment including mechanical ventilators, central/arterial lines, IV pumps, and CRRT.
• Monitor and manage patients using devices such as IABP and Impella pumps.
• Serve as a clinical leader on the floor, guiding RNs, LPNs, CNAs and on-site staff.
• Collaborate with Providers, Charge Nurses, and leadership to implement evidence-based care plans and thorough discharge planning.
• Maintain meticulous electronic documentation of patient status, interventions, and outcomes.
