Job summary

Essenti Talent seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) in Great Falls, MT. The role offers full-time, on-site work with a 3x12-hour day shift schedule and strong nurse-to-patient ratios in a modern hospital setting.

Qualified candidates will have an Associate Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred), Montana RN licensure, BLS/ACLS, and PALS within 6 months. Experience in cardiac surgery ICU is highly valued and opportunities for growth abound.

Qualifications

• RN with a nursing program graduate; Montana license or compact eligibility.
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS within 6 months; EPNC/TNCC preferred.
• Post-graduate ICU/CCU experience, especially cardiovascular surgery patients.
• Strong clinical judgment and teamwork; excellent communication.
• Preferred 1–2 years of Cardiac Surgical ICU exposure.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical care to cardiac and medical-surgical patients with advanced monitoring.
• Operate ventilators, lines, titratable pumps, and CRRT equipment.
• Monitor patients on cardiac devices like IABP and Impella; manage care plans.
• Serve as clinical lead on the floor and collaborate with healthcare staff.
• Ensure accurate electronic documentation and discharge planning.
