Job summary

Confident Search Consultants is partnering with a premier hospital in Great Falls, MT, to hire a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). This full-time, on-site role offers 3x12s shifts and a strong nurse-patient ratio designed for safety and personalized care.

The ideal candidate holds an ASN (BSN preferred), Montana RN licensure, and BLS/ACLS with PALS within 6 months. ICU/CCU CVICU experience and familiarity with Impella, IABP, and CRRT are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Education: ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Licensure: Montana RN license active/unrestricted (or compact/endorsement eligibility).
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; PALS within 6 months; EPNC/TNCC preferred.
• Required Experience: Post-graduate ICU/CCU or CVICU experience with cardiovascular surgery patients.
• Preferred Experience: 1–2 years Cardiac Surgical ICU; familiarity with Impella, IABP, and CRRT.
• Soft Skills: Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality direct clinical care to cardiovascular patients requiring advanced monitoring from admission through discharge.
• Operate advanced cardiac and life-support equipment including ventilators, central lines, arterial lines, multiple IV pumps, and CRRT.
• Monitor patients with devices such as IABP and Impella pumps.
• Serve as a clinical floor leader, guiding RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and support staff.
• Collaborate with Providers, Charge Nurses, and leadership to implement care plans and discharge planning.
• Maintain meticulous electronic documentation of patient status and outcomes.
