Job summary

CareerNerds, LLC is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) in Great Falls, MT. This full-time, on-site role offers three 12-hour daytime shifts weekly in a premier hospital setting with excellent nurse-to-patient ratios.

The ideal candidate has an ASN (BSN preferred), MT RN licensure, BLS/ACLS, and PALS within 6 months. Experience in cardiovascular surgery and ICU care is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ASN required; BSN preferred).
• Active, unrestricted RN licensure in Montana (or immediate compact/endorsement eligibility).
• Core certifications in BLS and ACLS; PALS within 6 months; EPNC/TNCC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical care to CVICU patients requiring advanced monitoring.
• Operate advanced cardiac and life-support equipment (ventilators, CRRT).
• Monitor patients with cardiac assist devices (IABP, Impella).
• Lead on the floor, guiding RNs, LPNs, CNAs and staff.
• Collaborate with providers and leadership to implement care plans and discharge.
• Maintain accurate electronic documentation of patient status and outcomes.
