Job summary

Hire Consulting Services is partnering with a premier Montana hospital to hire a full-time Registered Nurse for the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit in Great Falls. You will deliver direct patient care for cardiovascular and critical care patients in a high-acuity setting, from admission to discharge.

The role offers a 3x12-hour days schedule, on-site work, strong nurse-to-patient ratios, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for clinical advancement.

Qualifications

• Education: ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Licensure: Active, unrestricted MT RN license or compact eligibility.
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; PALS within 6 months; EPNC/TNCC preferred.
• Experience: ICU/CCU with cardiovascular surgery patients; post-graduate practice.
• Preferred: 1–2 years Cardiac Surgical ICU; familiarity with Impella, CRRT, and cardiac balloons.
• Soft skills: strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality clinical care to medical, surgical, and cardiovascular patients from admission to discharge.
• Operate advanced cardiac equipment including ventilators, central/arterial lines, and IV pumps with CRRT.
• Monitor patients with IABP and Impella devices and ensure safety.
• Serve as a clinical floor leader, guiding RNs, LPNs, CNAs and staff.
• Coordinate with providers and nurse leadership on care plans and discharge planning.
• Maintain meticulous electronic documentation of patient status and outcomes.
