Job summary

The Recruiting Hive is partnering with a premier Montana hospital to hire a full-time CVICU RN for on-site work in Great Falls. The role requires direct clinical care for cardiovascular patients and management of advanced life-support equipment.

The team emphasizes safety, teamwork, and modern technology. Montana RN license, BLS/ACLS, and PALS within 6 months are required; 1–2 years ICU/Cardiac ICU experience is preferred. A retention bonus and comprehensive benefits support growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN required; BSN preferred).
• Active, unrestricted Montana RN license (or compact/endorsement eligibility).
• BLS and ACLS are required; PALS within 6 months of hire.
• EPNC and TNCC are highly preferred.
• 1–2 years of post-graduate ICU/CCU cardiovascular surgical experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical care to medical, surgical, and CV patients with advanced monitoring.
• Operate cardiac/life-support equipment (ventilators, CRRT, lines, pumps).
• Monitor patients with cardiac devices (IABP, Impella) and document status.
• Lead on-floor clinical direction and collaborate with healthcare staff.
• Coordinate with Providers and nurse leadership on care plans and discharge.
• Maintain timely electronic documentation of patient status and outcomes.
