The hospital in Great Falls, Montana is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) to provide direct clinical care for cardiac surgery patients from admission through discharge.

This full-time, on-site role features three 12-hour shifts per week (3x12s), favorable nurse-to-patient ratios, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, retirement with employer matching, and fully covered malpractice.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Active Montana RN license (or immediate compact/endorsement eligibility).
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS within 6 months; EPNC and TNCC preferred.
• Post-graduate clinical practice in a Medical/Surgical unit with recent Critical Care/ICU experience in cardiovascular surgery patients.
• 1–2 years Cardiac Surgical ICU experience preferred; familiarity with cardiac devices and CRRT.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct clinical care to medical, surgical, and cardiovascular patients requiring advanced monitoring from admission through discharge.
• Operate advanced cardiac and life-support equipment including ventilators, central/arterial lines, IV pumps, and CRRT.
• Monitor and manage patients with cardiac assist devices such as IABP and Impella.
• Serve as a clinical floor leader, guiding RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and staff.
• Collaborate with Providers and nurse leadership to implement evidence-based care plans and discharge planning.
• Maintain meticulous electronic documentation of patient status, interventions, and outcomes.
